"Our Passion"
"Our passion" is to take familiar songs, strip them back to basics and reconstruct then in our own laid back, jazzy lounge bar style.
Just vocals and acoustic guitar and sometimes guest musicians. We appreciate the opportunity to entertain you and hope that you enjoy what we do as much as we enjoy doing it.
Claudette & Mick.
I've teamed up with Mick Murray (Guitarist and Sound Engineer).
We have worked together for some time developing an acoustic set. The songs are covers that we have stripped back to bare bones and rebuilt them with the Mizmerize touch.
When it's just you and a guitarist and its all about the vocals, you both have to work really hard as there is not a lot of room for error and when it comes off it's a great feeling, not just singing a song but performing it, bringing life and feeling the audience appreciation.
Claudette
I first met Claudette while working with several bands as a sound engineer / guitarist. Her professionalism and quality of her vocals made an instant and lasting impression on me. We have since worked together on many gigs and recording sessions, she is always a pleasure to work with.
Claudette has an amazing voice which I never tire of listening to so when asked me to play guitar on an "acoustic" project that she was working on I was very flattered and honoured.
A lot of time and effort was invested to get the sound and feel that we wanted, we are very pleased with the result and hope you enjoy it.
